Mole-Richardson Co. Becomes Patron of The British Society of Cinematographers (BSC)

ImageWe at Mole-Richardson Co. are honored to announce our membership as a 
patron of The British Society of Cinematographers (BSC). The British
 Society of Cinematographers (abbreviated BSC) was formed in 1949 by Bert 
Easey (23 August 1901 – 28 February 1973), the then head of the Denham
and Pinewood studio camera departments.

The British Society of Cinematographers is a professional Society formed 
in 1949;  its prime objective being to promote and encourage the highest 
standards in the art and craft of cinematography. Its membership is by 
invitation only and comprises talented and experienced Cinematographers,
many of whom have received Academy Awards (Oscars & Baftas) and other 
accolades for their work. It also encompasses experienced Camera
Operators among its Associate Membership and distinguished friends and 
patrons from the film and television industry.

Today, The British Society of Cinematographers (BSC) has 310 in the
 Society 89 full active BSC members, 50 Associate, 85 Honorary, 43
 Friends and 43 Patrons.
